Joe and Tammy Haden - We are lay missionaries called to the country of Zambia, Africa, after years secular employment.I retired from Monsanto Chemical Company after 34 years of service. Our personal support is provided through our retirement income. Therefore, every dollar of ministry support raised goes to the people and churches of Zambia.
Our home church, children and ten wonderful grandchildren are all located in Decatur, Alabama, which remains our home during furlough.
We work with another missionary couple, Bob and Jody Hayton in the Southern, Western and Eastern Provinces of Zambia. As of December 2007 we have 150 "Bush Churches" and seven senior pastors who oversee the churches and are committed to discipling and training 279 young preachers.
It is our joy to see the hand of God at work in one of the most unreached areas of the world, "The African Bush".
